Post-construction cleaning — your questions answered

We're renovating in an occupied apartment building. How do you handle that?

We screen off the work zone and cover the stairs or lift we carry equipment through. The point is that your neighbours don't get construction dust in their hallway; that's usually what complaints are about.

Are you allowed into the low-emission zone?

Yes, our vehicles meet the city of Antwerp's LEZ standards. For you that means no delay and no fines passed on.

Should we notify the syndic or will you?

Give us the contact and we'll handle it. In most Antwerp apartment buildings a prior notice about the time slot and lift use is enough.

Loading in the centre is only allowed until a certain hour. Is that a problem?

No, we plan deliveries within the window that applies to your street. That's why we ask for the address upfront, not just the surface area.

What if the site isn't fully finished?

Then we clean twice and charge twice. Better to tell us when the last trade has genuinely left; it saves you money.

Do you take the construction waste?

Small leftover waste, yes. Rubble, plasterboard and large volumes belong in your contractor's skip.
